BannedBooksArt Presents: The Lion, The Witch, and the Wardrobe

BannedBooksArt was inspired by the recent movement of book banning across the United State. I went to bed one night and dreamt that I bought this domain and started this project. When I woke up and the domain was available I decided to move forward with it.

Book banning is about killing the conversation, and instead of feeling hopeless to do anything: I created a space for artists to showcase their work as a way to start the conversation about these issues that we’re facing in society. Every month we rotate the featured banned book, and every month a related charity will benefit.

The gallery is now open to the public, available at https://www.bannedbooks.art, and this booklet is a great companion for accessibility and context.
